On February 14, 2017, Gilbert GARZA, a Texas 10 Most Wanted Fugitive and confirmed Hermandad de Pistoleros Latinos (HPL) gang member, was taken into custody by the Travis County Sheriff's Office in Austin, Texas, after turning himself in.
GARZA has a lengthy criminal history, including arrests for Aggravated Assault with a Deadly Weapon, Burglary of a Habitation, Terroristic Threat Against a Public Servant, and Harassment of a Public Servant. In addition, he has been incarcerated in the Texas Department of Criminal Justice (TDCJ) on multiple occasions.
GARZA had been wanted by the Jackson County Sheriff's Office since January 11, 2017, on three felony warrants for Obstruction/Retaliation.
GARZA is currently being held in the Travis County Jail with a total bond of $750,000.
