CAPTURE DETAILS:

Roy Lee BOSIER, a high-risk sex offender, was taken into custody on June 23, 2016, in Houston, TX. BOSIER was arrested by the Texas DPS Criminal Investigations Division (CID). The Houston Metro Police Department assisted in the arrest.
BOSIER has a history of arrests for Rape, Agg. Robbery w/Deadly Weapon, Attempted Robbery, and Burglary.
In 1979, BOSIER was convicted of Rape after he and two accomplices sexually assaulted a 17-year-old female in a secluded area near Calvert, Texas, located in Robertson County.
In 1987, BOSIER was convicted of Aggravated Robbery with a Deadly Weapon in Harris County after he struck his victim in the head with a pipe and stole the victim's personal property. He was sentenced to 99 years in TDCJ prison. He was paroled in December 2012.
On June 10, 2015, a parole warrant for BOSIER's arrest was issued by the TDCJ. On December 23, 2015, Harris County issued a warrant for Fail to Comply as a Sex Offender.
The arrest was the result of tip information received through Crime Stoppers and a reward will be paid.
