CAPTURE DETAILS:

Markeith MCWRIGHT, a confirmed Crips gang member, was taken into custody on November 18, 2015, by Dallas Police Department Officers with the coordination of the Texas DPS Criminal Investigations Division (CID).
MCWRIGHT has a lengthy criminal history dating back to 2002, including arrests for Aggravated Assault with a Deadly Weapon, Robbery, Assault, and Possession of a Controlled Substance (Cocaine).
On January 30, 2015, the 194th Judicial District Court of Dallas County, Texas, issued a warrant for MCWRIGHT's arrest for Probation Violation (Original Offense: Aggravated Assault with a Deadly Weapon).
On March 29, 2015, the Texas Board of Pardons and Paroles issued a warrant for MCWRIGHT's arrest for Parole Violation (Original Offense: Possession of a Controlled Substance).
MCWRIGHT was also wanted out of Dallas County for Possession of a Controlled Substance and multiple counts of Assault Family/Household Member w/Previous Conviction.
The arrest was the result of tip information received through Texas Crime Stoppers and a reward will be paid.
