CAPTURE DETAILS:

Michael Thomas OSBORN was taken into custody by the U.S. Marshals Florida/Caribbean Regional Fugitive Task Force on August 21, 2015, at a motel in Lantana, Florida. OSBORN is a convicted sex offender required to register every three months for life. OSBORN has ties to Deer Park, Texas, where he was last known to reside before absconding.

In 2000, OSBORN was convicted in Montgomery County of Aggravated Assault Against a Public Servant and Unlawful Carrying of a Weapon. Later that same year, he was convicted in Brazoria County for two counts of Possession with Intent to Promote Child Pornography. He subsequently was sentenced to seven years in TDCJ prison.

On June 2, 2015, OSBORN cut off the ankle monitor that he was required to wear after recently bonding out of jail on two charges of Indecency with a Child.

On June 3, 2015, the 263rd District Court of Harris County, Texas, issued two warrants for OSBORN's arrest for Bond Forfeiture (Original Offenses: Indecency with a Child).
