On August 6, 2014, Norris BALDWIN, a confirmed Crips gang member, was taken into custody without incident by Texas DPS Criminal Investigations Division, Texas Highway Patrol, and the U.S. Marshals Service at a residence in Ames, Texas. BALDWIN was added to the Texas 10 Most Wanted Fugitive Program on August 4, 2014.

BALDWIN received multiple drug convictions in the early 1990's in Liberty and Jefferson counties, including Delivery of Cocaine and Delivery of Marijuana. He had served time in the TDCJ prison system on five separate occasions and had a history of violating his parole.

On June 27, 2013, the Texas Board of Pardons and Paroles issued a Parole Violation warrant for BALDWIN's arrest. On July 3, 2013, the Liberty County Sheriff's Office issued a warrant for Possession of a Controlled Substance.

The arrest was not the result of tip information received, so no reward will be paid.
